This is a commissioned piece as an ode to the rows of heavenly lavender growing on a country property. Imagine the delight in participating in a summer evening yoga class inhaling the herbal scent of these sweet serene flowers. Columns of mature evergreens swayed along the perimeter of the purple fields while bees calmly gathered the last of the day's nectar and pollen. All of the wood for this piece came from the Purple Pine Lavender Farm and included pine, spruce, cherry, maple, sycamore, cedar and pussy willow.
