The Northern Cardinal activated the idea for this piece while a variety of wood cuts and pieces pulled everything together. The wood was taken from fallen trees on a nearby farm and scavenged from our woodland walks. The diversity of species provides a variation of texture and grain. Each piece telling its own story in its own significant way.
