The piece that began Grizzled Greys. One that resonates with us both dearly.
We incorporated rusted metal and wood cuts taken from an assortment of fallen trees from our neighbourhood. The warm soft tones of the natural wood grains and interesting patterns suggest a life well lived. The use of colour adds a bit of surprise to the work.
